After running a charming café in Rawdon for two years, we made the bold choice to leave the rental to follow our thirst for adventure. Passionate and experienced as baristas, we are also roasters of our own coffee, which we carefully serve at events, while exploring the beautiful regions of Quebec.
Create warm moments and encourage people to meet over a cup of coffee, while discovering the beauty of Quebec at each stopover. We believe that coffee has this unique power to bring people together and create lasting memories.
OUR SHORT STORY
The beginnings of Café Boisé were inspired by a desire to reconnect with nature. In 2022, we moved to Lanaudière, in Rawdon, surrounded by waterfalls, forests and waterways. However, the village lacked an independent café, and Léa decided to fill this essential need.
Café Boisé opened its doors in October 2022 in a small space on Queen Street, Rawdon’s main street, resembling a small apartment. Within a few months, the lack of space to welcome customers was felt, and in March 2023, the café moved to a former shoemaker’s premises, a stone’s throw from the first location. Maxime then joined the company full-time. Unfortunately, due to major rental problems, the barista couple had to leave this premises. However, they had the chance to continue their activities during the summer in a small outdoor pavilion located in the backyard of a nearby business.
It was a great experience to live, as the values of community and mutual aid were there.
The present of the Café Boisé
After many learnings, challenges and turnarounds, we have opted to reorganize and redefine our offer. We are nomads at heart and travelling the roads is a real pleasure for us.
Today, we hit the roads with our mobile espresso bar, ready to create unique moments over a good coffee, wherever life takes us.

Our roasting and beans
It’s been a year now that we’ve been roasting our own coffee by renting a space at TorQué in Montreal. This place is much more than just a roasting workshop: it is a real learning hub where we stay up to date on the latest in the world of coffee, while perfecting our skills thanks to the dynamic and inspiring atmosphere that reigns there.
We select responsibly grown beans, traveling to meet passionate producers and exploring the coffee fields.
Currently we offer three unique coffee bags, available at our events or directly on our website.
